3D-fied GMF editors often generate an error message (in the error log):

MapModeUtil#getMapMode(IFigure fig) fig parameter must be attached to a parent - using default MapMode

(Marked as minor bug, as editors seem to work correctly)

Newly added connections are now temporarily (i.e. while pending) added to a  figure, which implements IMapMode
