Description Francois Chouinard CLA 2010-06-05 14:48:43 EDT
Currently, the state system checkpoints are rebuilt every time an experiment is
selected, which can be time consuming when large traces are involved.

This is already partly mitigated by making the indexing a background request
but it could be further improved by persisting the checkpoints.

This doesn't apply to streaming.
Comment 1 Francois Chouinard CLA 2012-06-12 16:37:05 EDT
The new LTTng State System persists its state. This problem happens in the legacy LTTnf which we don't plan to update.
