Sounds like an SWT bug. Moving to SWT for comments.
Comment 2 Kim Moir CLA 2010-06-03 10:41:47 EDT
Prakash, the bug is still in equinox...moving
Comment 3 Thomas Watson CLA 2010-06-03 10:43:27 EDT
And back to Equinox ;-)

Please post the contents of the eclipse.ini file for your RC3 installation. I should have this for the --launcher.library.

--launcher.library
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_64_1.1.0.v20100503

Confirm that the org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_64_1.1.0.v20100503 directory exists on your installation. I have seen this happen if you extract the zip without creating directories. In that case everything gets extracted to a flat folder.

Also, in particular, you want
org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_64_1.1.0.v20100503\eclipse_1307.dll

SWT has a 64bit windows 7 machine, we tried RC3 there and it worked fine. I suspect problem with unzipping the archive.

I'm sorry. You are right. Checked the md5 but didn't check that somehow it didn't unzip correctly.
