Description Dan Rubel CLA 2010-06-01 13:28:33 EDT
I installed the Eclipse Marketplace Client...

* http://www.eclipse.org/mpc/
* http://marketplace.eclipse.org/quickstart

... but the Help > Eclipse Marketplace menu item does not appear after a restart. The same functionality installs and runs as expected in Eclipse 3.6 RC2.

There's currently no actionSet (indifferent) or menuContribution (necessary :-) support in 4.0.

Is the market place client in Helios?

Found it. If I delete the deltas.xml, the menu item shows up. But it does nothing.

This now installs and the menu item launches the client.

I installed the marketplace client into

- open install new software
- helios
- uncheck "group by items"
- install "EPP Common Package Feature"
- Restart

marketplace is there and seems to work (I didn't use it, but the menu is there and I could launch it.)
