It should be possible to drag and drop a Directory from the file explorer into the Git Repositories View. If the directory is a Git Repostitoy, the Repository should be added to the view, otherwise the "Add Repository" dialog should come up preselected with the dropped directory.

Good job, this is convenient for me and I'm sure it will be others once we update the documentation.
