patch
I would like to request that the following defect be considered for PMC approval for 4.7.0. 1. Explain why you believe this is a stop-ship defect. How does the defect manifest itself, and how will users of TPTP / consuming products be affected if the defect is not fixed? A few links are broken in the platform documentation. Fixing it will improve the polish of the product. 2. Is there a work-around? If so, why do you believe the work-around is insufficient? No. 3. Is this a regression or API breakage? Explain. A few of these were a continuation of bug 314276. 4. Does this require new API? No. 5. Who performed the code review? Jonathan 6. Is there a test case attached to the bugzilla record? Platform doc smoke test. 7. What is the nature of the fix? What is the risk associated with this fix? Low. Fixing up a few links. Removing some references that does not apply. 8. Is this fix related to any standards that TPTP adheres to? If so, who has validated that the fix continues to adhere to the standard? No. Patch checked into HEAD. This defect had been resolved as FIXED for more than 1 month. Please verify with the latest TPTP 4.7.2 driver. If this defect is still left unverified by February 25, we'll close it on the originator's behalf. TPTP 4.7.2 driver can be downloaded from: http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/?ver=4.7.2 Closing. |
