The CDO Hibernate store should be extended to support a default hibernate user type for persisting custom types as a String in the database. The efactory convertToString and createFromString methods can be used for this.

Moving all open issues to 4.2. Open bugs can be ported to 4.1 maintenance after they've been fixed in master.
