Description
David Williams
We just published RAP RC3, please include rap in the build again. The reason for this incompatibility is that the RAP runtime *includes* some platform bundles. We will rethink this bundling in the next release. The RAP runtime could also require these bundles instead of including them. However, since you currently have to uncheck the "include dependencies" option due to bug 276000, users would probably end up with an incomplete target. Thus I don't want to change the feature for Helios. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I have added it back. Should be in the aggregation build that's spinning right now. I don't really understand the reasons/issues (haven't read bug closely) but assuming there is no alternative ... the perhaps for RC4 you could make a "quick contribution" Friday night/saturday/monday morning? that has RAP with the right platform include ... so I don't have to remove it again ... even if you then make an update a few days later to add fixes, etc., for your RC+2/3 day. But, I am getting pretty practiced at removing it :) so I can do that too, if you can't correctly quickly. Ok, I'll try to do that as soon as the platform has published RC4. Thanks. |
