The aggregator seems to loose essential information from patch IU's.

I compare the IU 

 org.eclipse.ecf.core.featurepatch.feature.group / 3.3.0.v20100526-0240

in the last Helios release with its source from

 http://download.eclipse.org/rt/ecf/3.3/helios/site.p2/content.jar

All information that is added by the InstallableUnitPatch is lost. Only the info from InstallableUnit is mirrored. The result is a bogus patch that cause problems downstream. Bug 314108 is one of them.
