- launch the attached workspace
- in the Synchronize view, select the 3 projects with changes that are not in a change set:
org.eclipse.jdt.core
org.eclipse.jdt.doc.isv
org.eclipse.platform-feature

- context menu > Create Patch...
=> in the Changes tree, you can see that only org.eclipse.platform-feature and the bogus change sets with no children are checked, but the other two projects are not
- click Finish
=> the patch only contains changes for the file from org.eclipse.platform-feature

Major because this can lead to data loss.
