Context:

For a selected command list of conflicting commands is displayed in Preferences -> Keys -> Conflicts if other commands are assigned to the same shortcut. It is possible to jump to a command which is there in Conflicts list on click.

Expected behavior:

No matter what is in the text filter field, one gets readdressed to any command listed in Conflicts list on click.

Experienced behavior:

If one clicks on the command from Conflicts list which doesn't match the pattern in the text filter field the following effect will happed: text filter field gets cleaned, no command in the main list if visually selected, but the clicked command information if displayed in all fields (Name, Description, Binding and When) except for the Conflicts field. No changes of the displayed field (e.g. editing Description) will have an effect on the intended command.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Preferences->General->Keys
2. Create shortcut conflict for two commands, A and B
3. Type text filter for command A, such that command B will not be displayed
4. Select the command A from the list
5. Notice command B in the Conflicts list
6. Click command B in the Conflicts list
7. Notice that command B didn't become selected and effect described in Details above took place.

I like to add a more confusing bug which is linked to the bug first mentioned.

At first, I can confirm that after clicking on an command in the conflicts list, the command is not selected/highlighted in the command list. But the command details (below the 3 buttons "Copy/Unbind/Restore Command") show the correct information for the newly selected, conflicting command.

Now the confusing thing: clicking on "Unbind Command" or deleting the binding will not work, i.e. also clicking on "Apply" will not save the unbinding.


Workaround:

Choose the conflicting command manually from the command list.


Example:

I like to set "Ctrl + B" to the "Add Bookmark" command, as it is the same as in Kate (KDE). Then the command "Build All" appears (beside "Add Bookmark") in the Conflicts list. Clicking on it and then choosing "Unbind Command" will not work.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
