maybe there is a bug in BIRT by handling images which are included as URI-images with an absolute path and the export of an report in pdf and rtf.

I posted this bug also in the BIRT-forum at http://www.birt-exchange.org/forum/designing-birt-reports/19696-problem-image-path-how-set-path-images.html.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert a URI-image with a absolute path on a windows-system
2. Export the report to pdf or rtf

It's not recommended to use local absolute file path as the URL. In this case, using relative path to resource folder is much better. If you really want to use the local absolute path, try adding "file:///" before the path.
