There are 'synthetic' expressions, keywords that are really bound to variables in a particular context (source, input, builder, etc), and these are not valid in all places where they are offered. 

They should probably be handled as linked references instead (and so should probably variables). When they are links, it is easier to validate, and only those keywords that actually represent a value in a particular scope should show up.
