The new error parser ignores this message so the need for this capability is diminished. This will not be addressed in XDCtools 3.21 |
When configuro is run from CCS/eclipse and a config validation error occurs we get messages from _both_ the configuration step _and_ configuro saying that it failed: js: "C:/users/dr/tmp/ccs4_2/xdctools_3_20_00_36_eng/packages/xdc/tools/Cmdr.xs", line 51: Error: xdc.tools.configuro: configuration failed due to earlier errors (status = 2); 'linker.cmd' deleted. This message is redundant and unnecessary and confusing (too many failure messages makes it difficult to identify the important one). There should be a way to run configuro that suppresses the message above.
