The generated config scripts are a bizare mix of assignments to a wide variety of module/instance config params. As a result: 1. it's difficult to write a "rational" config script that serves as an example 2. these example config scripts are unlikely to "survive" product evolution 3. it's difficult to write robust regression tests 4. no one can understand the generated config script output
