On the Data Explorer, right click Report Parameters and select New Parameter.
Select Data type: Integer.
Preview box displays a value with fractional part. Integer numbers do not contain fractional part.

When a new Report Parameter is created, with the type, Integer, the preview shown is of a decimal number.
