The Web Server Tools support for Tomcat、WebLogic and etc. already for several years. Since the Jetty is a Eclipse project, I think the plugin support for Jetty is needed.

The original Jetty Plugin (jetty 6.0, from mortbay) can't be used with Eclipse and Jetty 7. Hope the support for Jetty is soon available.

We already somewhat have this. We created the J2EE preview which is based on jetty. 

I am not sure we will create a separate adapter for jetty, unless someone steps up to contribute the code.

I am closing this bug as WONTFIX for now, unless someone steps up to contribute the code.
