As you know, I live in Toronto. So there are lots of nearby Eclipse.org mirrors (in New York and Ontario).

But instead I consistently get stuck trying to build because of this:

Is something amiss w/ the mirror selection code? Can this 404'd mirror be pushed down into the "thanks, maybe later" pile, so I can access Ottawa, Waterloo, or even Boston before going overseas?

Our 404 page is always served locally.

The first two URLs return an XML mirror list.  I think your build is trying to download a JAR (not sure which one -- eclipse/plugins) for a Greek mirror and it's failing.

It's Tycho/Maven3 trying to download org.eclipse.draw2d from Helios, and getting http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.draw2d_3.6.0.v20100502-2050.jar.pack.gz instead (which is 404'd).

Nick, would this be a duplicate of that 'other' p2 bug we've been exploring recently?
