Description David Williams CLA 2010-05-17 16:44:46 EDT
We are current compiling against JREs that are a few service releases out of date.

Plus, we are running on JUnits on Java 6 service release 6, and service release 8 is now available.

I doubt it will concretely help our Junits "run more stable", but somehow seems like we should be as current as we can be, for a release.

Any objections? thoughts?

To document it exactly, the following show what versions of JDKs were are at, compared with what we would move to:

IBMJava2-SDK-1.4.2-10.0.ppc
IBMJava2-SDK-1.4.2-13.4.ppc

ibm-java2-sdk-5.0-6.0-linux-ppc
ibm-java2-sdk-5.0-11.1-linux-ppc

ibm-java-ppc-606
ibm-java-ppc-608

changed several days ago. Just now correctly marking this bug as fixed.
