Using p2 extensivly, you end up having many update sites and repositories in your list. Once one or more of these repos become obsolete (plugin died, deleted repo on filesystem) you get many errors saying p2 cannot contact the update site - so far so good.
But the workflow to get rid of those is a little tedious, go to preference page, remember which url it was, remove it.
I'd suggest - in addition to edit the location - to add a delete option to the message dialog when a repo is not available.
