There are places where CDO throws a NullPointerException that aren't real errors.

For example, notifications that arrive during client deactivation.

Can these be reduced?

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run several concurrent clients that lock and modify an object
2. Close each client immediately after the transaction commit
3. One or more clients experience NPE
4. Database results are correct

Do these NPEs have any bad effect? It's next to impossible to enhance this in a mutlithreaded world. If you have concrete ideas please reopen this bug.
