I select a package in the model explorer in which I want to add some classes. However, when I bring up the list menu  on that package in the model explorer (right click) and select the NewChild entry, none of the available choices include a class. In principle, I should be able to add any packageableElement to a package in this way.

This bugs is no more valid since Patrick commit for solving bug 312619.
