<response_by> rewagner at 2010.06.04.11.09.06 </response_by> Nicko and I have tried changing the font on the Japanese machine from Meiryo to Meiryo-UI. This seemed to fix the truncation. So hopefully this is an acceptable fix that doesn't interfere with other things. Thanks, Ross <response_by> Keiko Terada at 2010.06.06.19.48.38 </response_by> Hello Ross, I verified the truncation is solved. Could you let me know where we can set the font and size? <response_by> Keiko Terada at 2010.06.06.20.15.07 </response_by> The font size is small to read a complicated character, so I need to set back to the larger size... <response_by> Kathy Li at 2010.06.08.12.16.04 </response_by> it's a temp solution to fix this issue by changing font size or font style. We have bugzilla to track this issue. Defer and evaluate fix in future release. I think this issue could either be related to Draw2d's or SWT's font metrics calculation. As I have neither Windows 7 nor a Japanese language OS at hand it is quite hard for me to reproduce. Could you evaluate if it can also be reproduced on Windows XP? I've never tried on non Japanese WindowsXP to recreate, however we can download the Meiryo font from the link below. So you may be able to reproduce with the Meiryo font on your WindowsXP. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=f7d758d2-46ff-4c55-92f2-69ae834ac928 (In reply to comment #20) > I've never tried on non Japanese WindowsXP to recreate, however we can download > the Meiryo font from the link below. Regular style with size 9. Thanks |
