For example:

components/portal/inactive_reminders/emails/inactive_committers_reminder.php 

While I agree that using real names personalizes the message, it does create a liability. This is just one more thing that we didn't know that we had to change when Bjorn resigned. I am going to replace the footer with a slightly less friendly "this is an automated message from the Eclipse Foundation" or something to that effect.

While I'm at it, I will look for other similar references.

For completeness, I did consider creating something like a properties file to contain these sorts of identities. While that could work, I believe that it still leaves us open to future problems (it's still one more thing to think of when staffing changes occur).

I have not found any similar references outside of testing code (there are several tests that reference Bjorn's EF mailing address which I've opted to leave alone).

I opted to add the following text:

"This is an automated message sent on behalf of The Eclipse Foundation."

Change is committed in CVS. Marking as FIXED. Will go live with next push of the Portal code.
