Description Chris Ring CLA 2010-05-10 13:01:11 EDT
A package's dependencies include all targets in config.bld, even if that package doesn't use targets (e.g. ti.xdais, which is just a package of headers), or explicitly excludes support for a target.

This is particularly problematic, as compatible(!) versions of all these targets must be found on the XDCPATH when this package is used.

A workaround when incompatible targets are found on the XDCPATH may be to convert the compatibilities error into a warning.

Target compatibility checks can now be controlled:
    http://rtsc.eclipse.org/cdoc-tip/xdc/cfg/package.html#xdoc-sect-3

So, I believe this bug has long since been fixed.
