I think the UI tests have been broken by change http://egit.eclipse.org/r/#change,642
since the menu path "File > Import > Git Repository" has been moved to the repository view.

The menu entry has changed from

File->Import... (Import Wizard)->Git->Git Repository

to 

File->Import... (Import Wizard)->Git->Projects from Git
