Description Brian Vosburgh CLA 2010-05-04 17:53:01 EDT
- Create a JPA project with a persistence.xml file.

- Open an editor on the persistence.xml file.

- Open the project's Properties dialog and uncheck the JPA facet on the Project Facets properties page. Click OK.

- Note the JPA editor for the persistence.xml file is still open and gives the appearance that the JPA project is still present. If you close this editor and double-click on the same persistence.xml file again, a simple XML-ish editor opens.

Verified in build I-3.5.0-20121129071957 that when you update a JPA project and remove the JPA facet, if the persistence.xml file is opened it is updated correctly and you do not have to close and reopen the file. To view steps to verify this issue go to http://wiki.eclipse.org/Dali_3.3_M3_Release
