Reproduce:
The current version of the FontDialog uses a ColorDialog for color selection. Both are modal dialogs. Opening/ closing the color dialog causes the animation to re-run which causes flicker.

Fixed in shell.js including updated test.

Patch looks good, tests are green, problem is solved. I applied the patch to CVS HEAD.
