Can anyone tell me how to reproduce this problem ? In Control Panel->Region and Language, I have changed Formats, Format->German Location, Current Location->Germany Keyboards and languages, Choose current display language: Deutsch I also have tried to start Eclipse passing -nl de_DE I also tried all the above for portuguese language. I'm running Windows 7 - Ultimate, Eclipse 3.6 M7 I figured out the problem. We tried to fix a Windows 7 Japanese font problem by adding: org.eclipse.jface.dialogfont.0=Meiryo UI-regular-9 to the Japanese language pack for: jfacefonts_windows7.properties However, the key got distributed to other language packs. Problem is fixed when the key is removed from all language packs other than Japanese. I'm resolving this as invalid. Testers can verify in the next build.
