In some cases I see a stack of exception when starting a Riena based application. When that happens, the application will not start but you see exception after exception coming. Unsure what the reason is but might related to our eager Startup extension.

It was obiously due to an eager load setting using a Riena extension in bundle org.eclipse.riena.ridgets.ui.swt.optional. I dont think that this is necessary, so I removed it. Everything still seems to work so I close this as fixed.
