Description Krzysztof Daniel CLA 2010-04-30 06:21:32 EDT
This happens in Eclipse adopter plugin, more details will be known as soon as I will proceed with the investigation.
Comment 1 Krzysztof Daniel CLA 2010-05-04 11:32:37 EDT
The problem is caused by the different version of the plugin stored in the name and in the manifest. In Manifest.MF there is 1.1 and in the plugin name there is 1.1.0.

This was described earlier in bug 255158 comment 7.

DJ,

which classes require patching? You have fixed it before, but unfortunately there is no patch attached to the bug, and I do not want to spend all day on reinventing the wheel.
Comment 3 DJ Houghton CLA 2010-05-04 13:35:55 EDT
Looking at the CVS history there was a change in the Util class in the Eclipse touchpoint.

In order to determine the full set of changes you can create a Date object and compare and see what changes were released at the end of March last year and check the commit comments for each.

Judging from the description this looks like a duplicate of bug 255158.
We will use this bug report for tracking backporting into the r3.4.x stream.
