It appears that there is a serious regression in the p2 repositories published by Eclipse Project in 3.2 M7 code stream (the problem wasn't there in M6). The repositories for components like JDT and PDE (I haven't checked all of the repositories) are missing .feature.group IUs. This makes it impossible for any system (such as build) that composes installations using p2 commands to move to new integration builds. Setting severity as blocker as the result.

Not sure where the problem lies. It appears that if I generate a repository from binary features and plugins using p2 commands, the .feature.group IUs are present. The .feature.group IUs are also present in repositories published by WTP.

Starting with platform releng. Please route as appropriate.

So let me understand your issue.

You are consuming our sliced repos such as JDT and PDE? And they are missing the feature IUs?

Have you looked at the repos in builds > I20100428-0100?  

This issue was fixed in this bug 307573.

I was looking at I20100425-2000. Will take a look at the newest build and resolve as dupe if no longer an issue.

Great. Something just happened to the download server. None of download links inside platform builds work. Even for the build that I downloaded binaries for earlier today.

I verified that the issue is resolved in I20100428-0100 build. Resolving this as dupe of Bug 307573. Thanks for the quick response and identification.
