Description andy CLA 2010-04-21 09:39:36 EDT
Build Identifier: M20100211-1343 (eclipse Classic 3.5.2 and extra installed plugins)

I downloaded Eclipse Classic 3.5.2 and i installed the following PLugins in the shown order:
 - Subversive
 - M2Eclipse plus Maven Extras
 - Mylyn
 - DLTK (1.0)
 - TPTP
(the exact listing of plugins is shown in "Steps to Reproduce")

After installing TPTP the Eclipse restarts and THEN I get the Error "The installable unit org.eclipse.ui.win32.translated_host_properties is missing the filename property.".
This error only occurs one time. (after installing TPTP and Restarting) in no other case the error get logged in the error log of eclipse.
When i restart eclipse after getting the error, the rror do not occure again.

How can i fix it?

When i download Eclipse Classic 3.5.2 and install only TPTP the error doesn't occure.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Eclipse 3.5.2
2. Install Subversive (SVN Team Provider and SVN Integration for Mylyn)
from http://downloads.eclipse.org/releases/galileo
3. after restarting eclipse select all of the automatically showing SVN Connectors to install
4. restart eclipse (now SVN is completely installed)
5. Install Maven Integration for Eclipse (M2Eclipse) from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e
6. restart eclipse
7. Install Maven Extras from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e-extras
ATTENTION: Select all Maven Extras without "Maven SCM handler for Subclipe", because Subclipse is not installed.
8. Restart eclipse (Maven now completely installed)
9. Install Mylyn from http://download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn/update/e3.4 and select all entries
10. restart eclipse (now Mylyn is already installed)
11. start Eclipse and install Dynamic Languages Toolkit (1.0) for Mylyn Integration, Core Frameworks, Remote Development Support, iTcl Development Tools, Ruby Development Tools, Tcl Development Tools, XOTcl Development Tools
from http://downloads.eclipse.org/releases/galileo
12. restart Eclipse and install Dynamic Languages Toolkit (1.0) for Javascript IDE and Python IDE from http://download.eclipse.org/technology/dltk/updates/
13. Restart Eclipse
14. install TPTP from http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo and select all subpackes of "Test and Performance"
15. restart eclipse
16. NOW i get the error Message
"The installable unit org.eclipse.ui.win32.translated_host_properties is missing the filename property." in the error log.

Today i tried again. Now with the same order of installation of the plugins the error doesn't occure. Eventually it was an error by downloading or installing.

I think the Bug can be closed.
