To move a folder I recurse into the folder and setContents on conflicting
destination files. When I'm done with all files and after deleting all the
source files (which I have validateEdited) I delete the folder. The delete
fails because the folder is not checked out and is read-only.
I can't validateEdit folders, should I be able to?

I assume we can close this now. If the delete fails then you can't do
anything more. The provider would've had a chance to make it writeable
through move/delete hook. If they couldn't, then you can't either.
