Description David Carver CLA 2010-03-12 15:59:53 EST
While working with the git mirrored repositories for WTP, there is an issue that is causing problems with eGit and the way it determines the available projects. The way the CVS repository is setup, it contains .project files at various levels and not just on the plugin/features/test/documentation projects. For example sourcediting:

Sourceediting contains a .project, but so do the plugin, features, tests, and documentation folders as well. These should be deleted before any official migration to git, and it would be nice to get this cleaned fore testing purposes of the git mirror as well.

The only place .project files should be stored are in the actual plugin bundles themselves.

Moving this over to sourceediting, since the initial description lists the sourceediting folder in CVS as an offender.

Source Editing is just one of the ones I tested first.

Common seemed to be okay.

I didn't test the git mirrors for the other wtp projects.

All of these folders have been cleaned up in HEAD.
