The GEF 3.6 M3 build makes use of the modeling common build.

The build server setup can be found http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMFT_Build_Server_Setup and http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF_Build_Server_Setup

The build scripts for GEF and modeling are in 
:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/modeling
in
releng-common/tools/scripts

The GEF configuration passed to the modeling build is in
:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/tools
in
org.eclipse.gef/org.eclipse.gef.releng
