This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. We no longer do email address changes in the portal. Chris: is this still an issue with "My Account"? I will say, as someone who's email recently changed, that it all went pretty smooth on Eclipse.org EXCEPT for the mailing lists. Don't ask me why, but for some reason figured that would be more automatic. (like bugzilla and Git access). (I am not sure if Pascal is talking about the mailing lists or bugzilla, but ... would be handy for those few times someone changes their email address ... to at least provide a "choice" if they want mailing lists changed too). I think the issue was with the mailing lists. Moving this to the mailing list. I presume we need to update the mailing list database after an e-mail change. We have some changes pending that should resolve this once internal testing is finished. -M. The new mailing list management tools connected to accounts.eclipse.org should correctly update subscriptions when a users email address is changed. -M. |
