- observed with the latest swt on ubuntu, works fine on RHEL4

- run Snippet300 and use the mouse to select the text in the second text field, which is a JTextField
- the field's contents draw corrupted, screenshot is attached

The problem is not reproducible with the latest SWT HEAD and on Ubuntu9.04 (Gtk2.16) - selected text appears properly without any problem.
Which version of Ubuntu/GTK you are using ?

I've updated the title, it's Ubuntu 9.10 with GTK 2.18

Closing this ticket due to old environment. Please reopen the bug if the issue reproduces against 4.8 and GTK3.22.
