The time on modeling.eclipse.org is half hour ahead.

I am not sure if I should run the date command given this is a vserver.

You are right in that you can't set the hardware clock on your vserver.  The clock skew was my mistake -- the server was getting its time from an external time source, but I forgot to tell it to set its hardware clock to that time.

It should all be well now (or soon, anyway).
