Major bug still hasn't been fixed. Re-opening as previous is marked FIXED and I cannot change the status.
Please fix this bug as it is very annoying and disrupts the workflow. Has been present now for some time.

Please always mention the bug numbers when you refer to other bugs. I guess in this case you meant bug 297248.

Why don't you just reopen bug 297611 (filed by you and marked as dup of bug 297248)?

And as you could see in those bugs, problems related to breakpoints belong to JDT Debug, not JDT UI.
