I would like access to add things to the Helios build as described here:

I plan to add EGit.

All of the front line nodes show you as a member of the group.  If you have any 'old' CVS connections you'll need to close them as they won't see the permissions update.

From the command line on dev:

caniszczyk:/home/data/cvs/callisto> touch t
caniszczyk:/home/data/cvs/callisto> rm t

restarted Eclipse, readded connection and still no dice.

getent group callisto-dev 

should I? 

(that's from my shell on build.eclipse.org ... you know me, I don't know what a front line node is :)
