The icon used for restart button in Debug view is too similar to a refresh icon. 
Most DSF views use the same icon to refresh their view.  

If possible the restart icon should be changed to clearly distinguish between the refresh and restart actions.  At a minimum this icon should have a different color than the refresh icon.

The restart icon is contributed by CDT.  Reassigning.

I've changed the CDT restart icon to be the same as the one of the platform.

Actually re-using the retargettable action from the platform is not done yet, but is tracked by bug 289526
