Description Chris CLA 2010-01-05 10:11:03 EST
Using the Xerial SQLiteJDBC driver, I cannot access any of my SQLite data. To reproduce this problem:

1) Create a new report
2) Add a new Data Source
3) Using "Manage Drivers" point to the location of the Xerial SQLiteJDBC driver
4) enter driver URL of jdbc:sqlite:
5) Click "Test Connection" This will be successful
6) Click "Test Connection" again, the result will be the stack trace below

This error also occurs when you attempt to preview a report with this type of connection. BIRT was included with a 3.5.1 eclipse install. So, it was not separately installed.

org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.JDBCException: There is an error in get connection, null.

Comment 1 Wenfeng Li CLA 2010-05-11 19:27:56 EDT
Please contribute a patch for SQLITE database if you can help debug the code.
Comment 2 Xiaoying Gu CLA 2010-08-17 01:27:14 EDT
I can not reproduce this issue in BIRT 2.5.1 release, with Xerial SQLiteJDBC driver sqlite-jdbc-3.6.20.1.jar.
Comment 3 Xiaoying Gu CLA 2010-08-17 01:52:42 EDT
The driver downloaded from:
http://www.xerial.org/maven/repository/artifact/org/xerial/sqlite-jdbc/3.6.20.1/
