Description

I am curious to understand why you have this requirement. The new tools generate an XML file. I believe that we can use XSD to provide different kinds of sorting. Additionally, we should be able to add some menu options (or something) to modify sort order directly in the XML file itself. This is related to bug 298352. We would like better control on how to present the bugs that has IP contribution. We would like to group them by milestones they have gone in and components if possible rather than just a flat list sorted by bugzilla number. That information is all pretty accessible from Bugzilla. We should be able to grab it and then provide arbitrary sort in the output. Marking as WONTFIX. There is no general requirement for this feature. |
