Description Christine Mising name CLA 2009-12-11 16:03:33 EST
I have a library that is growing in size due to the amount of reusable items that I need to have. I am having performance issues with saving, refreshing, and adding elements when I am using the library.

One thing that I would like to know is if there are performance issues when running the reports due to the file size of a library. Also, are there performance issues when using multiple libraries for a single report design.

JasonW asked me to post this as a bug and attach the library so that the the deve team could do some testing.

Here is a link to the forum post and I have attached the library. this does not use the test database so I'm not sure how much testing could be done.

added me as a cc so I would get updates to this bug.

please attach the library to this bugzilla.

Spliting the library will help performance if you do not need to use all the library items in all reports.

I've checked latest BIRT 2.6 build, with fix of bug 298370, the performance for large report is pretty good now.
