Working on bug 236169 I bumped into an issue I'm not sure how to deal with. Here is the situation:

I would like to use PatchWizard[1] as a nested wizard in Synchronize wizard[2], so when you do 'Synchronize', select 'Apply Patch' participant and click 'Next' the 'Patch Wizard' will show up. The problem is that 'Patch Wizard' goes normally with different IWizardContainer i.e. PatchWizardDialog[3] than the one provided by 'Synchronize' wizard. This leads to a situation in which I'm not able to open the nested wizard using desired dialog size.

Is there a workaround for this? Let me know if you need any more details. I'm afraid that if I don't find a solution for this I will mark this bug as blocker to bug 236169.

This is a blocker to bug 300345, which has been scheduled for 3.6M6. Prakash, is there any chance this will be addressed in the nearest future? Could you at least say is this a valid bug? If so, is there anything I can do about it?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
