Description
Daniel Drigo Pastore
Hi Daniel, This is expected behavior because you have a restricted shell on our machines. Nearly all committers have a restricted shell. It provides enough functionality to enable CVS and SVN over SSH and nothing else. If you need a full shell for specific purposes please specify why you need it and we'll review it. Cheers (In reply to comment #1) > Hi Daniel, > > This is expected behavior because you have a restricted shell on our machines. > Nearly all committers have a restricted shell. Cheers Hi Karl, I need to have the same permissions/functionalities as mbrenner and dbarboza, since I am a committer from their team and we do the same tasks. Thanks for your attention, Daniel Pastore Hi, could you please make sure that Daniel Pastore (dpastore) has the same permissions on the build server as myself (mbrenner). Currently he is unable to cd to /opt/public/dsdp/tml, which is where our build scripts reside, and he needs to be able to edit those scripts in order to start TmL builds. When he tries to enter this directory his shell crashes. Thanks. Eric I need your ok to 'promote' Daniel to a full shell. Please note that access to the release train areas requires approval from David Williams since he's taken over managing the ganymede/galileo/helios builds. -M. Matt, I approve Daniel's shell access. Daniel is becoming the build engineer for TmL/Sequoyah, so he will need this access. Thanks Done. -M. |
