Description Dennis Huebner CLA 2009-11-02 15:33:38 EST
Running promote.xml I'm getting an "UNIXProcess.forkAndExec native error: Argument list too long" :

main:
     [echo] /usr/bin/rsync -a --exclude=eclipse/ /opt/users/hudsonbuild/.hudson/jobs/cbi-tmf-xtext-0.7/lastSuccessful/archive/build/N200911011938 /home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/downloads/drops/0.8.0/
    [unzip] Expanding: /opt/users/hudsonbuild/.hudson/jobs/cbi-tmf-xtext-0.7/lastSuccessful/archive/build/N200911011938/tmf-xtext-Update-incubation-N200911011938.zip into /home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/updates/nightly
[echo] Fix permissions and group ownership on zips
[chmod] Warning: UNIXProcess.forkAndExec native error: Argument list too long
[chgrp] Warning: UNIXProcess.forkAndExec native error: Argument list too long
... and so on.

As result I have several published files where mod and group are not properly set.

Maybe it helps if we limit the 'maxparallel' to i.e. 300 ?

Thanks,
Dennis.

Better: Clean out your temporary files/folders as instructed in the build log before publishing the build.
