The Resource Filter dialogs should use icons made by UI designer. As stated in bug 292517.

New icons released to HEAD. I left the filter decorator disabled by default.

Looks good. It's still hard to recognize the filter decorator though - looks like screen cheese ;-)

The designer created an overlay with a funnel, but it didn't look good. He decided to modify the one we already have and I hope you will like it.
