If I want to attach multiple files from the same directory using the file selection (browse) mode, I always have to navigate to the directory. If the last location could be saved, this would be a great relieve.

Makes sense and should be straight forward to implement.

The history of the last 5 selections is now persisted in the preferences and the browse dialog will default to the last selection.
